We are a dynamic community wind band consisting of enthusiastic local musicians. We have been running for over 15 years, and now boast a membership of almost 50 playing members from all ages and backgrounds.
We play a mixed repertoire, ranging from light entertainment (show and film selections, ballads), through marches and popular light classical pieces - as well as many exciting original wind band compositions.
In the summer we play at local bandstands and perform at numerous indoor venues during the rest of the year. We rehearse weekly on a Monday evening from 7.30-9.30pm.
We sometimes have vacancies, depending on instrument and playing ability. We are mostly looking for bass instruments, horns and percussionists. If you are interested in joining please contact Andy Brown via email at or by telephone on 07594 240269. Also get in touch if you would like to be put on our mailing list, would like to book us, or generally want to know more.
